Hii Ajay, DataGrid in Webforms by itself does not have any click event other than
the select Command or Edit Command. One thing you can do is have an icon or an
imagebutton in one of the columns. YOu can associate and ItemCommand to the click of
this button. In the code Behind for this event you can add this piece of code. Lets
suppose the ItemCommand event for the imagebutton is DataGrid_ItemCommand(..) {
int i = e.Item.Itemindex // would return the row number // suppose you want to
pick up the first column value which is a string string col1 =
e.Item.Cells[i].ToString(); // The above statement would return the value in the
first column as a string } Try this out any other issues with DataGrid feel free to
