Hi
Balaji,

Aha..this is one
of the most interesting concepts from Microsoft. Biztalk Server is basically an
'Applications Integrator'. Biztalk server does this with the help of XML
messages.

Over the past
couple of years Biztalk server has come a long way and today it has a lot of
features like HIPAA extensions, COM Interfaces support . Biztalk communicates
via 'XLANG', this is the schema Microsoft has built for talking across
applications

So a practical
example could be that you speak in English and you don't know French and your
client speaks in French but does not know English, so you get a middle man
(translator) who communicates with you in English and with the client in
French.

This approach
saves you the time in learning French and starts the business process
instanteously.

Now the issue here
is thus now if you had five more clients which were speaking in
Japanese,Chinese,Arabic,Tamil,Kannada then the problem would be that the
translator should know all the languages or probably let's say you learned a new
language called 'XLANG' and the translator can translate from XLANG to all
languages and vice versa.

Biztalk does not
stop with the talking only.... there is more

Simply talking
does not help us much we need to perform actions. What if the actions were also
preset and could be orchestrated before hand itself.

Taking cue from
the example ,you meet one French client but now you are scheduled to meet a 100
French clients during the next 100 days. Thus process would remain the same ,but
the contents would change. So all we need to do is to analyze the contents and
make our decision on the same

Thus comes in
'Biztalk server Orchestration' process ,which is about workflow automation in
businesses. The server on receiving certain responses will take the next step(s)
suggested to it with the help of Orchestration diagrams built in Visio 2002 and
above.

I am looking
forward to working in Biztalk Server....

Thank
you,

Best
Regards,

Soumitra
