----------------------------------------------------------- New Message on BDOTNET
----------------------------------------------------------- From: Thepelicanbrief2 Message 1 in Discussion hi folks, we have a wen application and of which we are doin production support. so after some time we so some enhancements, bug fixes and then deploy the code onto the webserver. please tell me what is the best way to do? 1) should i create a .msi file of complete application with increased version and then deploy the application? 2) should i just copy the .aspx and dlls into the wwwroot folder? 3) And is there any way thru which i can just update the production server with changed files only. Something like a patch release? Where I do not re-write the entire folder content. regards, tpb ----------------------------------------------------------- To stop getting this e-mail, or change how often it arrives, go to your E-mail Settings. http://groups.msn.com/bdotnet/_emailsettings.msnw Need help?
