Hi Hashim,   My suggested solution is much simpler as it does this in a single step.   
 It is hash comparison and no need for decryption of stored password. In fact only the 
hashed value is stored in the database the clear text is not stored anywhere.   You 
can change the hash algorithm to MD5 by changing the second parameter as Both SHA1 and 
MD5 hashing algorithms are supported by this method.   best regards, shashi
