----------------------------------------------------------- New Message on BDOTNET
----------------------------------------------------------- From: shashijeevan Message 6 in Discussion Hi Hashim, My suggested solution is much simpler as it does this in a single step. It is hash comparison and no need for decryption of stored password. In fact only the hashed value is stored in the database the clear text is not stored anywhere. You can change the hash algorithm to MD5 by changing the second parameter as Both SHA1 and MD5 hashing algorithms are supported by this method. best regards, shashi ----------------------------------------------------------- To stop getting this e-mail, or change how often it arrives, go to your E-mail Settings. http://groups.msn.com/bdotnet/_emailsettings.msnw Need help?
