----------------------------------------------------------- New Message on BDOTNET
----------------------------------------------------------- From: jeethu Message 1 in Discussion Hi all, We are planning to migrate Delphi 7.0 application to Delphi.Net(Delphi 8.0). Existing application i.e in Delphi 7.0 uses lot of base classes. THe base classes are in the form of packages i.e in (.dpk,.bpl). I know that in .Net using Runtime callable wrapper, we can use a COM object in .Net program.. We have Delphi 8.0 IDE .If we try to open any Delphi 7.0 project in Delphi 8.0 ,it tries to convert all the referred packages & throws hundred's of errors.I dont want to retain the same delphi 7.0 packages & migrate only the top layer i.e just the application. --I have follwing question:s Is there a easy way to use delphi 7.0 package in Delphi.NET? Is there a easy way to convert Delphi packages to a COM dll? ----------------------------------------------------------- To stop getting this e-mail, or change how often it arrives, go to your E-mail Settings. http://groups.msn.com/bdotnet/_emailsettings.msnw Need help?
