Hi all Thanks a lot for the replies and I was able to do shrinking of log
file.Following is the code used: ============ DBCC SHRINKFILE(MyDatabase_Log, 1)
BACKUP LOG MyDatabase WITH TRUNCATE_ONLY
DBCC SHRINKFILE(MyDatabase_Log, 1) ============ Note: MyDatabase_Log : This is the
name of the Log File MyDatabase : This is the name of the Database
1 : To what size it is to be shrinked Once agin
