Hi,

This question is realted to Visual
Basic 6.0. I have an application which reads some data from printer and then
submits the data to one asp page on the website. Now, i have problem in
hand:

Some of
the customers use proxy server to connect to the Internet and my application
takes the default setting of the Internet Explorer to access my asp page and
submit data. I am using winsock control to do this.

But,
the problem comes when some customer has put some restrictions of authentication
before accessing any site. In such cases, my application fails to access my
website. Can someone tell me how do i authenticate the proxy server before i
could access any site through VB Program.

Looking
forward for a lot of suggestions and ideas for doing this...

Thanks and Regards
Vinod Krishnan
