Hi Guys,
I'm working on a ASP.NET web
application.
I've a little problem and I request
you, the other members to give a valuable solution.

The problem here is:
I have a data-entry
form.
In that one has to enter a total
values and a individual break-up of the categories.
It would be seen like
below.
Total Number : ______
(Text Box :: Here total number comes)
Category:
01. Gen ________
(Text Box)
02. SC ________ (Text
Box)
03. ST ________ (Text
Box)
04. OBC ________ (Text
Box)
05. EXS ________ (Text
Box)
06. OPH ________ (Text
Box)
07. D&D ________ (Text
Box)
08. Total ________ (Text Box READ
ONLY)
I am retrieving the categories from the categories
master table. (category code and category name 01,02,....and Gen, SC,
ST,....)
The total number of rows may differ. Here I had given 8
rows.
After diplaying this I've to generate run-time text
boxes for different categories.
The code number of the category and the value for each
category should be inserted into a different table (shown in
Red),
and the total number (shown in green) should be
inserted into a different table.
I'm facing problem in this how to
implement.
I tried out in dataset and a datagrid but while Edit /
Update the round trip it taking too much of time,
so I decided to generate textboxes for each individual
categories on the fly.
I would be greatful for you sugesstion and solutions.
