Hi Rao, The problem is the form doesn't do anything. If I do only onLoad without form
it works fine as below. <body onLoad=texton()> then the textarea loads with the value.
Forget about the textout() function. In the form I want to have action tag like
<form name="form1" method=POST action="passparam.asp"> instead of OnSumit . Here is
the task: I have a textarea and a button. When I open the page the value "How are you
" appears in the textarea.Then I modify to "Hello How are you" and when i say submit
the changed textarea value is passed to passparam.asp where it is accesed by
Form.Request("parametername") and used to display in diff format. My problem is I cant
make both onLoad and form to work together. Both work if they are by itself.I also
tried using a button for onLoad instead of in body tag. Hope u understand my problem
and can help me. Thanks in advance, Shailu
