hi ,
my problem is in writing a stored procedure for the foll. condition. i have a list of
rooms which are to be used for holding seminars/demos on a time & date basis. So each
time a request for a room comes up i have to check the date & the time range it is
required for & then show the list of available rooms in a datagrid. So if a room is
required for example between 1st march 2004 and 3rd March 2004 between 10 AM & 1 PM,
my query should be able to retrieve even those rooms which have been booked on the
above dates for other seminars but are not booked for the specified time range.
table1:ROOMS Fields used RoomID,RoomName. Table2 BOOKEDROOMS fields used : RoomId
,FromDate,ToDate,FromTime,ToTime. thanx Prem
