Hi people
Im an engineering student in bangalore and a new member of this group. It feels
great to be here. Well im doing my 8th sem project in helett packard.We are doing a
database project using asp.net. Im new to dot net and have the following two queries
1- I need to know the advantages of dotnet from the users point of view
2. I have no knowledge in dotnet so i need to know how to establish a connection with
oracle. I have a table in oracle with four fields ie name , tel no , empno. and email.
i need to make a front end with four text fields and two buttons submit and clear.
when i click on submit the text field contents must be added to the oracle table.
Someone please help me out. Im desperate. Also if u could help me retrieve records it
would be very helpful. Im using ORACLE 8i.
