Vishnu,
The way the Link button works is completely
different. You need to trap the command argument/ name from the
event
Go through the link below, this gives
complete understanding of how to use the Link button

Hi guys,
In one of my aspx pages
i have a link button onclick of that i wrote
                Response.redirect("xxx.aspx")
Which was working very fine in
                my system...

But when we give it to client.. when he
tried to click the link it is showing the error.. in the url
link javasctipt:__doPostback('xxx',")... Page can't be displayed
error.... what might be the reason behind this we developed this
in windows 2000 and client using XP over there....

can u
people plz help me in this regard..

Thanks in
                advance
vishnu
