Let the first method give the size of the data and the second method return the n'th data packet. Let's assume that the size of your data is 1.2MB . Fix a size for the packet. Say 10K . Now there are approximately 120 packets . You have to call the second web method 120 times with packet numbers from 1 to 120. This also helps you resume downloads . You can ask for any packet number any time . You could speed up the process by using multiple threads which are responsible for getting packets in a given range .
