You can find more information about how to use it at my site here. Note that the object that you call should support automation. It is actually an efficient solution to get the records to the middle tier and then do the process (2 Million is not a lot of records). You can work in chunks of records and do the conversion. Doing this work in SQL Server can be performance intensive.
