But i require a bunch of features which should where a server component would not be a feasible solution. The features are: 1. The client should be able to search files in a remote machine/s - THE CATCH is that it should use the REMOTE MACHINE's PROCESS. 2. The search result should display in the clients machine (Where the search is made). So to solve this what i thaught is that i can have an Application residing in the remote mac's (The client is Okay with this :)). So this would take inputs such as 'Search string' and the 'Client name' . This app would write in to a file and sent it back to the client. So it satisfies the conditions 1&2 . Honestly i am NOT very happy with the approach. But the client is okay with it. SO PL SUGGEST IF U HAVE A BETTER APPROACH !!!!!
