----------------------------------------------------------- New Message on BDOTNET
----------------------------------------------------------- From: Hemoji Message 1 in Discussion Hi all, Need Help, I'm working on a vb.net application, i need to run 3 to 5 threads simultaneously, Each thread has lots of code to execute for ex: thread1 watches a folder to copy huge image files between locations (on servers) no breaks, thread2 does some kind of validation on watch folder and similar stuff like that. I implemented 5 threads to do the task, but the thread1 will never be free or hardly free, in that case other threads are not executed at all. I tried adding sleep on thread1, as the images files are huge (around 10mb each) the file copy process will complete after a long break Can anyone suggest me an alternate for this problem. Thanks in advance Hemo ----------------------------------------------------------- To stop getting this e-mail, or change how often it arrives, go to your E-mail Settings. http://groups.msn.com/BDOTNET/_emailsettings.msnw Need help?
