Thatz the way it is organized to code in 
VB.Net unlike C# which is new generation code. I don't think with this below 
example you can claim supremacy for C#!
Just a thought!

                a friend pointed out to me.

This is VB.NET integer 
                declaration:
                    Dim i 
                as Integer
                
This is C# integer 
                declaration:
                    int i;

Let us put both lines 
                next to each other and compare.
    Dim i 
                As Integer
    int i;

In case you have not 
                noticed, in the keywords Dim and As don't serve any 
                purpose at all. VB.NET is full of junk keywords like 
                these.
