----------------------------------------------------------- From: spprivate Message 1 in Discussion Hi, One NGO is in the process of developing low cost TTS application for the disabled people.The softwares available in market are pretty expensive and hence this project was started.Already NIIT Delhi and IISC Blr are in the process ,but they need more expert support.Previous experience in TTS is not required.Basically they have started with VB6,Windows Programming and some OCR tools. People who are interested to work(when ever you have free time) in this can reply for this message.Though they are using VB(that time they didnt have much expertise in .Net)Infact I suggested using .Net.Since we have such a huge user group with vast experience ,I am sure we can work it out for a noble cause.
