I do not think that SQL Server has an equivalent of the Oracle spool
command, perhaps others on the list can update my knowledge. But it
certainly is possible to get your query results into a file, exactly how
just depends on how you are running the query.

In the query analyzer, you click on the bottom window that shows the
results, then click File-Save. If the query is being run as part of a program,
then I guess one can open a file handle and use that program's write methods
to create an output file.   Cheers Satheesh
