Also i want to display the contents of the file in a web page as and when there is any change (Similar to tools like UltraEdit and TextPad). I will not install any component on the remote PC. How can this be effected? 1. How should i configure the FileSystemWatcher to point to a file in a remote PC. 2. Shuld i use networking functionality to map the Web Server to the remote PC. In such a case i should be able to get the drive letter in which it is mapped. 3. Then use a FileStream to read the contents of the network file. Is the above procedure correct? Is there any other better implementation? Also is it possible to Map to a remote PC with System.Net namespace? Is there any other namespace which can help me out?
