My previous appliction was with Sql Server and in my DataBaseAccess class(class which does all the DB opeartions), i imported the SQl Server namespace (System.Data.SqlClient) and the code was according to that(ie using SqlDataAdapter, and SqlCommand). My Queries are : 1. What knid of design we should make to go around with multiple databases. 2. How do my code in the DataBaseAccess Class change accoding to the currently used DB.(ie SqlDatatAdapte , or OledDataAdapter) 3. Is it possible from the connection string to know, to which typ e of DB should the system use. 4.Are there any custom classes for this kind of operation,ie whether the Data Appication blocks will support this.. 5. Can i use Stored Procedures for this or just ANSI SQL is better???
