Hi, Issue : I have a situation in which I need to call a function with in a class.
Within this function I need to instantiate an object which supports event handling.
The call back may take a moment or so, and hence I will not have a chance to capture
the response, before that the control would have finished executing the function. Is
there any workaround for this kind of scenario. Probably this is a basic Question.
any help is appreciated. I would like if you can illustrate through the following
example. Dim myObj as New ObjTest Func MainFunction() returns dataset i =
Total number of counter for commands which needs to be executed AddHandler
objTest.OnCommandComplete, myObj_OnCommandComplete For the command No. Count,
Loop i times myObj.Data = "dfsdfsdfsd" ' keeps changing for each loop
myObj.Active = True ' Activates the component and call back will
call myObj_OnCommandComplete Next ' ' I probably thought there need to be
some thign here which would allow the events to be over before returning to the
controller of the object ' return the resultset which has recorded responses for i
times End Function Private Sub myObj_OnCommandComplete(...) Process..... End
sub Thanks in advance, Vinod
