----------------------------------------------------------- From: Joseph A Moraes Message 1 in Discussion Hi All, We need to insert rows of data which may have indefinite no.of columns of different datatype. So we are maintaining them in tables one for each datatype. Here is DB design. Table "IntTable" with Columns "RowID","ColID","ColValue" - holds all columns of type Int Table "StringTable" with Columns "RowID","ColID","ColValue" - holds all columns of type String Example IntTable RowID ColID ColValue 1 1 10 StringTable RowID ColID ColValue 1 2 "Good Boy" I need a view which will return me like this RowID ColID ColValue ColID ColValue 1 1 10 2 "Good Boy" Note: The number of Columns may vary and not fixed Thanks in Advance, Joseph.A ----------------------------------------------------------- To stop getting this e-mail, or change how often it arrives, go to your E-mail Settings. http://groups.msn.com/bdotnet/_emailsettings.msnw Need help?
