I'm binding a dataset to a datalist
in the datalist's itemtemplate i'm using a html check box
depending upon some criteria i want to check the checkbox .
some thing like this <%if # Container.DataItem("CMP_CHECK") then %>
<INPUT id=chkIncludes type="checkbox" checked name=chkIncludes
value='<%# Container.DataItem("CMP_ID") %>'>
<%else %>
<INPUT id=chkIncludes type="checkbox" name=chkIncludes value='<%#
Container.DataItem("CMP_ID") %>'>
<%end if%> but it is giving an error,Container.DataItem not declared
if i use asp checkbox,it isworking fine, <asp:CheckBox ID=a Checked=<%#
Container.DataItem("CMP_CHECK") %> runat=server Text=<%#
Container.DataItem("CMP_CRITERIA") %>></asp:CheckBox>
how to do it ?
