It seems that this option is working only for Label control as and not for other controls as per current .NET Version. All the .NET books haven't mentioned about this inability of ASP.NET. Every book seems to say that it will work. But I have done some examples and every control other then Label is maintaining it's view state even though the option set to false. Is this bug?. One of the faculty in an institute went to the extent to say that it is bug. Any of u guys tested this property?. View state got very importance and if this option is not working then this is a bug. Please check and verify whether view state is working.
