I want to get the list of groups for the user who is currently logged in. normally this is possible from dos prompt using NET user /domain username. But i wanna get the groups as a list of records or something of that sort from the Visual Basic Program. I tried to do something using LDAP Server linked with Sql Server. sp_addlinkedserver 'ADSI', 'Active Directory Service Interfaces','ADSDSOObject','adsdsoobject' But that is also throwing error as Error 7301: could not obtain a required interface from OLE DB Provider 'ADsDSOObject'. Any solution for this?
