.NET

You are invited to take Exam 71-330 or Exam 71-340 in their beta versions. When these
exams are available to the general public they will cost $125 (the standard price of
Microsoft certification exams) in the United States; these beta exams are being
offered to you free. You are being given advanced notification about these beta exams.
By participating in beta exams, you have the opportunity to provide the MCP program
with feedback about exam content, which is integral to development of exams in their
released version. We depend on the contributions of experienced IT professionals and
developers as we continually improve exam content and maintain the value of Microsoft
certifications. A passing score on these beta exams counts as elective credit toward
the Microsoft Certified Application Developer (MCAD) and Microsoft Certified Solution
Developer (MCSD). You can expect to receive notification on whether or not you have
passed the exam before the final exam is released.

A public announcement to developers will be made on February 23rd 2004. Beta
