Hi,      Also, check if your web application folder (c:\inetpub\wwwroot\<appFolder>) 
is included in for your virus scan list of folders. When Virus scanner runs and tries 
to scan this application folder, it will lock the files for a while and then release 
it after the scan. Because of this activity the IIS assumes that global.asax file is 
changed and it tries to restart ur application which will expire your session 
variables.    I had encountered this same problem and once i removed the application 
folder from scanning, that problem was solved.   HTH, Pradeep.
