Based on this statement But i want the user to continue the process even after the 
session expires .
 I suggest to store user information into cookies. check 
System.Web.Security.FormsAuthentication.RedirectFromLoginPage  method's 2rd parameter. 
   ofcourse session data will be lost of session expires but using cookie information 
you can find out who is the user.    if you do not wish to lose session data then go 
as per what pooran suggested. but also look at the downside of this option. session 
never expires, you are putting iis server on a tough test     Regards, Jignesh Desai
