Hi,

The issue is related to cookies. We have implemented SSL for our
website. The issue I am facing is as follows,
As soon as user logs into our application we are creating an
FormsAuthenticationTicket with the user identity and adding that to the cookie.
Consider the user closes the browser unintentionally, next time when the
user tries to login to our application we are checking whether any cookies
exists for that user and if exists we are doing some database process in order
to make the user to login to our application successfully for the second time,
but for some reason its working inconsistently in Windows 2003 Server / Windows
2000 Professional, not at all working in Windows NT and Windows
98 machines. Are there any issues in the way cookies are getting
handled in each of the operating system or any issues with cookies over sercured
websites. Any lights on this issues?
