Yes Vivek.I have given my username name and
password.
ie username "siju" and password
"siju".
Then it is showng the error
The SourceSafe database path "siju" does not exist. Please select
another database.
Please help me for this.

hi Siju
Give your vss username and password in place
of "username" and "password" keywords
for example
vss.Open(@"\\servername\path\srcsafe.ini",
"Siju", "tiger");
and give the exact path of the file of vss (open the
vss and see the structure and path of file you want to get
latest)
SourceSafeTypeLib.IVSSItem vssItem =
vss.get_VSSItem("$/path/Data Dictionary.doc", false);
