Hi
I tried to connect to MS-Assess database from VB.NET
(web application)
using "Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0" but its
giving error :::
"cannot find the installable
ISAM"
I searched most of the web forumes to fix this problem, but
did'nt got fruitfull results.
I am using Microsoft Access 2000.
The dll file "msjet40.dll" is exists in my system.
If anybody worked on this, please give me some
hints....
Below is the extract from the code i
written.....
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
OleDbConnection con;
OleDbDataReader rdr;
//con = new OleDbConnection ("Provider=Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0; Data
Sorce=" + Server.MapPath
("mdb/mdbTest.mdb"));
con = new
OleDbConnection ("Provider=Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0; Data Sorce=" +
Server.MapPath ("mdb/mdbTest.mdb") + ";Jet OLEDB:Database;Security
Info=True");
con.Open();
OleDbCommand myCmd = new OleDbCommand ("SELECT * FROM
books", con);
rdr = myCmd.ExecuteReader();
DataGrid1.DataSource = rdr;
DataGrid1.DataBind();
