Hello, We have been debating what real time communication method to use in one of
our projects. It should support up to 10000 users simultaneously. We checked 1.
Remoting (MS suggests we go with web services instead. And will not be supported much
in future) 2. Jabber (Lack of good .Net libraries to connect to a Jabber Server) 3.
Polling a web service (Overhead?) 4. Running a TCP Server and maintaining an open
connection with the client, a la MSN(Lack of interoperability, and support) 5. Running
a TCP Server on the client, and server notifies client of new updates (Sounds a bit
funny?) Well.... we have thought of all these. :) Please let me know which is the
best option, in case you have done something on these lines. Jeswin, PulzeStream
