Hi,
Insert the line in bold and this will test for null condition.If it is not null then
only your code will execute.
public int CompareTo(object obj)
{
if (obj != null)
{
switch(t_sortOrder.ToLower())
{
case "fnameasc":
return this.Fname.CompareTo(((ContactData)obj).Fname);
case "fnamedes":
return ((ContactData)obj).Fname.CompareTo(this.Fname);
default:
return this.Fname.CompareTo(((ContactData)obj).Fname);
}
}
