Hi,
 <o:p></o:p>
I was trying web farms with state server mode and have gone thru the following steps.
 <o:p></o:p>
I have selected 2 servers.
 <o:p></o:p>
In the first server,
I created a 28 hexadecimal char for machine validation key and applied the
same in machine.config file. I changed the web.config file for session
mode=State Server with IP address left default to tcpip=127.0.0.1:42424 I set
the startup type of Asp.net state service to automatic and started the same.
 <o:p></o:p>
In the second server,
In machine.config file, I replaced the machine validation key and description
as same as that of first server. In web.config file I replaced the session
mode to =State Server with IP address set to that of first server i.e.
tcpip=192.168.10.1:42424, where 192.168.10.1 is the IP address of first server.
 <o:p></o:p>
Now I created 2 different projects in both the servers.

In the first page of first server I created a session variable. In the same page I
have a hyperlink to redirect to the new page on the second server. In this new page I
am expecting the same session created in the first server.
But it is not happening, I mean I am unable to retain the same session in both the
servers.
 <o:p></o:p>
I would like to know where I have gone wrong ?
 <o:p></o:p>
Thanx in advance
 <o:p></o:p>
Cheers
 <o:p></o:p>
