Hi Nasha,



Tried the below solution, when i select
the value in java script and printing the dropdownlist1.selectedindex value


it is returing -1 (minus 1) .



Any solutions to this ??

Hi,

 

To get values added on the client
side select all the values before posting the form back. (List box)

 

If you are using a combo box then
you will only get the selected value.

I am adding some values to the dropdownlist in the client side using java
script but could not get 

the values at the server side (in the code behind file) . How can i retain
those values that i 

added at the client side using java script. Any Solutions for this ??
