Hi Ambrose, Its working for me. Here is the code snippet which i have tried
<SCRIPT language="javascript">
function getXML(obj)
{
alert(obj.name);
 obj.disabled=true;
 alert("hi");
XMLDoc=new ActiveXObject("Microsoft.XMLDOM");
XMLDoc.async=false;
XMLDoc.load("http://www.w3schools.com/xml/note.xml";);
alert(XMLDoc.xml);
}
</SCRIPT>
<HTML>
<input type="button" text="click this" onclick="getXML(this);"><input>
</HTML>
 Between first and second alert, the button is getting disabled. If you still face
problem then get back to me. -Saravana www.extrmeeexperts.com
