Hello,

Senario of the problem:
I have a form Form1 from which i have opened
a form Form2 with a method ShowDialog(). This Form2 contains some text boxes for
numeric input. I have added the validating function for each of the textbox so
that textBoxes do not leave focus unless a valid number is entered
(e.Cancel=true;). This form also contains two buttons with dialog result ok and
cancel.

Problem:
even when cancel button is presses textbox values
are tested and if incorrect input is found event is cancelled. How can I prevent
this? Is there any other way around for solving the problem.

Language:
The program is a windows client and made in
C# .Net 2003.

Rahul.
