Hi!!!, I am using a class _variant_t type to get information from a SQL database. I
need to store the value in a variable that too is of _variant_t type. But when I want
to build a SQL Statement or Format it as a string it gives and exception.

this->ptrDateConversion.CreateInstance(__uuidof(Recordset));
this->ptrDateConversion->CursorLocation = adUseClient;
this->ptrDateConversion->Open ((IDispatch *) this->ptrCommand , vtMissing,
adOpenStatic,adLockBatchOptimistic, adCmdUnknown);
this->DateOfTrans = this->ptrDateConversion->Fields->GetItem("DateOk")->Value;
strQuery.Format("Date is %s",this->DateOfTrans); //Exception Occurs Here
