Hi,
If the server control has a server event, then on click of
the button it always takes to server.
But
still you can write client side script to that button. In that case after
executing the client side event the server event fires.
But
you cannot override the server event. To acheive this add an attribute like
-
Button.Attributes.add("OnClick","MyFunction()");<asp:Button id=Button1
style="Z-INDEX: 101; LEFT: 160px; POSITION: absolute; TOP: 101px" Height="51px"
Width="207px" Text="ASP Btn"
runat="server"></asp:Button>
Thanks,
Raghu

Hi Lokanath,
Since the Control is mapped to the Server Side Method the
Server will add a do_postback() Method to the Control which will
handle the click event in the Server side. How can i override
this or add the client side event handler in the client
side.
Thanks
