Use the following code on the start of ASP
page.

Response.AddHeader "content-disposition",
"attachment; filename=" & filename & ";"
Response.ContentType =
"application/vnd.ms-word"
What ever u write after this code will be be
displayed as a word file on the browser. It will ask Save or Open dialog
box( as displayed when u download any word file from the internet).
