There is no direct approach..., bcos even the senior architect who involved in the 
development of the .net himself is telling that "we are not providing any radio button 
column" at present.  So whatever u have approached is absolutely right.   But it is 
always advisable to fire the serverside code on clicking in radio button, u can do 
that approach like first selecting the option button and then in the top right corner 
u can have button like "edit", "view" and click on this button u can post the data 
back to server.
