Hi Ambarish,   The class that you plan to expose as a cmdlet has to inherit the cmdlet 
class. cmdlet class has three functions [there is no implementation] that can be 
overrid by the inheriting class: StartProcessing(), ProcessRecord(), EndProcessing().  
 msh calls your StartProcessing() first if one exists on your cmdlet invocation. Then 
for each input record, it calls ProcessRecord() if one exists. Finally it calls 
EndProcessing() if the function is overrid. If none of these functoins are overrid, 
well, your cmdlet does nothing. These three functions are what msh looks for [in the 
order explained]   You may find some information about this here   Mail back if its
