ya Nitin, Iam creating a component called Logger, as u know AOP means aspected
oriented programming.. Iam creating custom attributes over there and a message sink to
catch all my methods and logging all the messages into the log file, We have done this
component for windows apllication first when we tried to use the same component for
our current web application.. its able to create log file but not in the right folder,
where previously we are creating it in projects bin folder... This is where we are
facing a problem
public LogMethodCallsAttribute():base("LogMethodCalls")
{
LoggerSettings.CallingAssemblyPath = Assembly.GetExecutingAssembly().Location;
}
hi lohith i think we cant use Application.Startup path as its not a web component.
When we include this attributes in our client class(In this case its LogMethodCalls)..
When we create an object of this class this LogMethodCallsAttribute will be called
automatically...
I understand i explained little bit of it.. yes u guys just give me an hint how to do
the same thing in web
