----------------------------------------------------------- New Message on BDOTNET
----------------------------------------------------------- From: abhisekb Message 3 in Discussion Hi, Currently you may be using datetime datatype based variables to store and pass the date across different layers of your application. The datetime datatype is tied to the regional settings of the machine where it is running. Since you do not have control over the regional settings option of the machines, you may want to send the dates across as a string datatype. In your functions and stored procedures, you have to then perform an additional casting of the values to datetime data type if you want to do some manipulations. But if you just want to save the date entered from front-end, just do the conversion once in the SQL stored procedure. In this way you should be able to avoid the date format problems that you are facing.
