we have stored procedure ,it returns records from 5-10 tables after joins
that stored procedure taking 30-40 seconds from query analizer to execute
but when i try to exceute the same from asp.net i'm getting the following error
""Timeout expired. The timeout period elapsed prior to completion of the operation or
the server is not responding. ""
i set session timout =50000 in config file and the query time out =0 on enterprise
manager
this was my code snippet
cmd = New SqlCommand("ACS_SP_FLEXACCTRETREPORT", conn)
cmd.CommandType = CommandType.StoredProcedure
cmd.Parameters.Add("@dtStart_Date", strStartDate)
cmd.Parameters.Add("@dtEnd_Date", strEndDate)
cmd.Parameters.Add("@intFilterId", strEntity)
cmd.Parameters.Add("@strSource", strSource)
cmd.Parameters.Add("@intUserRole", "0")
cmd.Parameters.Add("@intSelID", intSel)
cmd.Parameters.Add("@dtAnaly_Date", strRefDate)
cmd.ExecuteNonQuery()
