Hi All , I have a code like below.
public class FileComparer:IComparer
{
#region IComparer Members
public int Compare(object x, object y)
{
FileInfo file1=(FileInfo)x;
FileInfo file2=(FileInfo)y;
if(file1.Length > file2.Length)
{
return -1;
}
if(file1.Length < file2.Length)
{
return 1;
}
return 0;
}
#endregion
}
I know it is used for sorting the file object in ArrayList al.
Code is as below.
IComparer Com=(IComparer) new FileComparer();
al.Sort(Com);
Can some body explain me how it will do sorting.
