Hi,

Has anybody used JLCA or has a case study for the same?

  I have a web-application (currently running on JBOSS/Tomcat) that I
need to convert to .Net platform. Specifically, I need the information
on:

 1. Ease of conversion of basic data-types
 2. Ease of conversion of database related code. Currently, I work
with MySQL but changing the driver to work with MS-SQL is fine (on
java). How is it taken care of by JLCA?
 3. Ease of conversion of JSPs
 4. Converting Servlets - are they converted first of all? Since
Request and Response statements may have some incompatibilities, but
we may not be working in "incompatible area" too much.

 5. Performance tuning - after migration, how easy is to fine-tune the
application? More so... how can I find the bottle necks? What the
areas to be specifically looked for (information gathered by
experience or otherwise)?

Happy Hacking,
Gaurav Vaish
