Hi, Generally ADO.NET is addressed as a disconnected architecture tool. That is,
once the connection established and all the data are stored in a dataset and perhaps
each user has been created seperate sessions. No need to keep connection on live
always. When ever there is a need for a transaction then the connection again opned
for transaction. Well, the problem now is, each and every time you need to refresh
your dataset. Otherwise your data in the dataset will be old copy of the database.
This problem can be addressed by .NET frame wok by keeping both the technics either
connected architecutre via Data reader or disconnected architecture via data set or
you can use both. I thing this will clear your doubt. With regards, Sethu.
