----------------------------------------------------------- From: call_me_vins Message 1 in Discussion I have generated a class which confirms to a schema definition using xsd.exe. Then I used mySerializer.SerializemyWriter, ucpClass); to generate the XML. The only problem is I need the Schema definition in my xml file... i.e something like <xs:schema id="ucpclass" targetNamespace="http://www.tempuri.org/ucpclass.xsd" in the xml file. Do I have to open the xml file and edit it or is there a way in which the serialize() function will do it for me. btw - is this appoach correct. The requirement was generate an xml file which matches a given xsd schema file. Thanks and regards, vinay ----------------------------------------------------------- To stop getting this e-mail, or change how often it arrives, go to your E-mail Settings. http://groups.msn.com/bdotnet/_emailsettings.msnw Need help?
